Fire Alarm Technician Helper

Job Title: Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Helper Job Description As a Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Helper, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing, and maintaining water-based or sprinkler systems. You will read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and fire codes, and ensure systems are tested for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment. Additionally, you will complete service documentation and coordinate with the service department to address any inspection deficiencies. Responsibilities + Perform routine inspections and maintenance on water-based and sprinkler systems. + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and fire codes. + Test systems for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment. + Complete service documentation detailing findings. + Coordinate with service department to address inspection deficiencies. + Conduct inspections and test fire alarm systems. + Provide detailed reports of deficiencies and recommendations. + Prepare service-call tickets for submission. + Inform service department of customer needs. + Advise customers of test results. Essential Skills + Experience in service, installation, and wiring of fire alarms. + Proficiency in fire alarm inspection and installation. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience in fire sprinkler testing. + 1-3 years of fire alarm service experience or training preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications + NICET Level II or III certification preferred. Why Work Here?
