You benefit from a close-knit community-based team and a supportive organization with opportunities for movement and growth.The Farmstead is seeking Part Time Driver to join our team.Scheduled hours are 6-15 hours per weekREPORTING STRUCTURE: The position is reported to Life Enrichment Director.AbOUT THE FARMSTEADLocated in Andover, MN, a northern Twin Cities suburb, this community was founded in 1998 on what was once a flourishing family farm. The original round barn built in the 19th century remains part of the campus; it is leased to an antique shop owner. A plethora of other stores and restaurants in the area make it easy for employees to run errands before or after work.This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living, Assisted Living Memory CareAddress: 13733 Quay Street, Andover, MN 55304As an employee you can take advantage of a variety of amenities such as:- Heated parking available for NOC staff, and some spots for other staff as available- Discounted employee meals- Free Fitness Center accessThis site is in proximity to: Ramsey, St. Francis, East Bethel, Ham Lake, Anoka, Coon Rapids, and Blaine• Organize and provide a shuttle service for residents. • Maintain a daily schedule, plan routes, and schedule riders accordingly. • Provide a door-to-door service for the residents who have mobility or ambulating impairments.• Escort them from their home or apartment to the bus and escort them into the building of their destination. • Organize a schedule in collaboration with designated staff and residents to provide periodic services to support resident attendance at activities away from the campus.Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.Class A or B driver’s license and passenger endorsement as required by site and vehicle driven.Knowledge of vehicle maintenance sufficient to ensure the excellent and safe operation of the vehicle and to trouble-shoot problems.Current and valid medical certificate in compliance with Department of Transportation Requirements as required by site and vehicle driven.Excellent driving record.Must possess patience, tact, positive attitude, enthusiasm as well as willingness to work as a team player.Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work independently and effectively withresidents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.09 - $20.59 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role.
