Description: Become part of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Organization as a Subcontract Management Sr. You will be responsible for overall management of supplier contracts, schedule, and supplier performance. The position will be responsible of managing procurement activities related to assigned supplier accounts within the GSC Airframe Organization. Within this role, you will lead activities that include but not limited to: preparing requests for proposals, evaluating subcontractor proposals, developing cost/price analysis, negotiations, purchase order and contract creation/documentation, purchase order maintenance, managing contractual delivery schedules to align with program demands, and communicate across multi-functions and multi-level platforms. Some Domestic travel will be required for this position. Must be a US Citizen for this position. u2022 Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. 50% on site, Wed & Thurs. FTW Basic Qualifications: u2022 SAP Experience u2022 Aero Industry Experience u2022 Experience with schedule, cost, and performance responsibilities u2022 Experience working with teams, reporting/communicating, providing deliverables and ensuring completion of those items u2022 Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, and PowerPoint advanced Excel Desired Skills: u2022 Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university 5 + years of professional experience u2022 Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) u2022 Experience with multiple tasks with competing priorities u2022 Excellent organization skills u2022 Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills u2022 Sound decision making abilities u2022 Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated u2022 Experience and understanding of Subcontract Program Management (SPM) best practices and tools u2022 Solid subcontract management u2022 Ability to negotiate terms and conditions and pricing u2022 Complex problem solving skills u2022 Excellent business acumen and ability to make business based decisions u2022 Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry u2022 Ability to work independently and in a team environment u2022 Ability to interpret policies/procedures and apply concepts u2022 Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues u2022 Emerging Project/Program Management skills u2022 Ability to coach and mentor other less experienced personnel u2022 Previous international procurement experience Clearance Level: None Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
