We work together and give our best to make a difference in our world.Join us as a Program Manager in Energy and Power, where we are using our solutions across multiple markets to create a more connected and sustainable world, environmentally and socially.As a vital leader in our Energy & Power Program Management team, youu2019ll work on challenging programs that depend on your vision, expertise, intuition, and leadership to plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of complex program delivery.Weu2019ll rely on your leadership and passion for delivering multidisciplinary complex systems and Energy & Power-related programs and on your experience serving as the companyu2019s primary contact with the client, responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the program. Your experience should include extensive experience in Program Controls (planning, scheduling, cost controls, etc), including serving at some point during your career in a Program Controls Lead role, or comparable role.Capitalizing on your strategic foresight, weu2019ll ask you to serve as an innovative thought-leader while utilizing both innovative and well-established program management procedures. As an inspirational leader, youu2019ll be responsible for oversight and mentoring of the program team through all phases of program planning, procurement, delivery, and closeout consistent with program delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified contractual requirements.Utilizing your business acumen and communication skills, youu2019ll be asked to develop and maintain meaningful client partnerships, successfully complete the scope of work, and simultaneously ensure that Jacobsu2019s health, safety, environmental, security, quality, financial, risk management, business, and policy expectations are also met. Additionally, weu2019ll ask you to play a key role in business development activities leading to the award of the contract. This typically includes client relationship development, program-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, orals presentation, and contract negotiation consistent with established business development processes.Weu2019ll look to your technical expertise for knowledge and the innovative application of design, construction, and operations to structure approaches to solving programmatic challenges. By joining Jacobs, youu2019ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams.Design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can continue to evolve, grow, and succeed. #epjobs #naepjobsWeu2019ll Also Ask you to:Clarify the programu2019s vision and strategy, and ensure efforts are prioritized to support themManage external client and stakeholders, as well as internal staff, to complete work on-time and within budget, including interfacing with teams working on other related programs/projectsCoordinate and/or oversee design, construction, and readiness activities with clients, consultants, and stakeholdersOversee interdisciplinary teams and provide review and guidance during development of deliverablesWhen necessary, coordinate with regulatory agencies and serve as a liaison between clients and other agenciesMentor and lead other staff while creating an environment in which innovation and differences are openly shared, embraced, and incorporated into the teamu2019s activitiesAssist with proposal development and participate in interviews and presentationsParticipate in the Jacobs growth process and work collaboratively with Sales teamsTake an active role and participate in appropriate industry trade organizations, including presentation of papers, publications, and serving on select committeesPartner with the Global Program Management team on leadership best practices #epjobs #naepjobs Relevant four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field; Graduate degree a plusSubstantial years of experience overseeing large scale programsDemonstrated experience managing large scale Energy & Power programs with varying degrees of technical, financial, strategic, team and client/external stakeholder complexityDemonstrated direct experience leading a program controls team, including responsibility for planning, base-line scheduling, and cost controlsDemonstrated understanding of capital programming, technical design and construction oversight, program delivery, commercial management, health and safety, and other key disciplines necessary to deliver a complex programExperience with a variety of delivery methods, including Delivery Partner, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Public Private Partnerships/AFP deliveryAbility to articulate complex concepts and demonstrate extensive experience in partnership-building, agency coordination planning, and program experienceIdeally, You'll Also Have:Registered Professional Engineer, PMP, PgMP and/or equivalentExperience with program governance and a variety of program management organizational modelsTechnical expertise in one or more areas of Energy & PowerExperience collaborating with stakeholders and end usersJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
