Locations Across the Capital Region + Acute Care Hospitals: St. Peteru2019s Hospital in Albany, Samaritan Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital in Troy. + Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital: Inpatient rehabilitation hospital Openings vary by unit and shift. Units / Practice Areas: We regularly recruit for roles such as but not limited to: + Medical/Surgical & Progressive Care + Critical Care / ICU + Emergency Department + Perioperative / Procedural Services (as applicable) + Behavioral Health (as applicable) + Inpatient Rehabilitation (Sunnyview) What We Offer + Competitive pay and shift differentials + Fullu2011time, partu2011time, per diem, and flexible scheduling options + Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement) + Tuition reimbursement and professional development and career progression + Clinical ladders and internal mobility across units and locations throughout the organization + A collaborative, missionu2011driven culture focused on quality and safety What You Will Do As an RN in Acute Care, you will: + Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care + Administer medications and treatments, manage IV therapy, and monitor patient responses + Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition; escalate appropriately + Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes + Document care accurately and in accordance with standards and regulatory requirements + Provide education and emotional support to patients and families Key Responsibilities + Deliver safe, evidenceu2011based nursing care aligned to unit standards + Coordinate care transitions and discharge planning as needed + Participate in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts + Support a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning Qualifications + Current New York State RN license in New York State + Associateu2019s Degree from an accredited Nursing program + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Nursing required for Nurse Leader positions + Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking + Commitment to patientu2011centered care and teamwork Preferred (Not Required) + Acute care experience (Med/Surg, ICU, ED, Tele, etc.) + BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit Ready to Apply? Pay Range: $40.00 -$71.31 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
