Sitework Project Leader

Job Title: Sitework Project Leader Job Description As a Sitework Project Leader, you will set daily crew objectives and organize tasks to ensure efficient operations. You will coach and develop less experienced crew members, while being accountable for the performance and development of your direct reports. You will participate in the hiring process, supporting the growth of junior project leaders and overseeing crew leadership across various jobs. You will be responsible for project-level planning and coordination, ensuring all materials, equipment, and resources are available ahead of time, and coordinating with subcontractors to align their work with schedule, scope, and quality standards. Responsibilities + Set daily crew objectives and organize tasks. + Coach and develop less experienced crew members. + Be accountable for the performance and development of direct reports. + Participate in interviews and hiring for direct reports. + Support junior project leader growth and crew leadership. + Own project-level planning and coordination. + Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and resources ahead of time. + Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with schedule, scope, and quality standards. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in directing crew for excavation, grading, utilities, and concrete work. + Supervising heavy equipment operation. + Proficiency in site development and civil construction. + OSHA 10/30 certification. + Reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator. + Experience in civil construction and site work. + OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working on commercial site work job sites, typically from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime during busy seasons. The work involves collaborating in crews of 3-5 people. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Ontario, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
