Weu2019re seeking an intern with an interest in Process / Building Mechanical Piping Design and Plumbing / Materials Engineering to join our Life Sciences team Conshohocken PA. Youu2019ll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving todayu2019s challenges.As part of our team, youu2019ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clientsu2019 challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of engineering services.Youu2019ll be responsible for providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of Professional Engineers and Design Leads. Youu2019ll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging projects.Youu2019ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.If youu2019re up for the challenge, weu2019ve been looking for someone just like you. Qualifications Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Desire to design building mechanical systems, including Process & Mechanical Piping, for buildings and facilitiesIdeally You'll Also Have: 3.0 GPA or higher Working knowledge in Revit, 3D CADD Previous internship experience with a design firm or similar setting Ability to communicate with all levels of management Self-driven time management and organizational skillsJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
