Job Title: Assembler Job Description Join a world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for commercial, business, regional, and military aerospace customers. As an Assembler, you will engage in pre-assembly activities such as drilling and deburring parts to prepare for assembly. You will be responsible for assembling component parts, including attaching parts together by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding. This role involves utilizing hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, as well as riveting and countersinking. All necessary skills will be taught; we welcome candidates with a mechanical experince and a strong work ethic and drive to learn. Responsibilities + Perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts. + Assemble component parts by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding. + Utilize hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Conduct riveting and countersinking tasks. + Work from aerospace blueprints and schematics. + Maintain a fast-paced work environment. Essential Skills + Prior aerospace assembly experience. + Experience with sheet metal and countersinking. + Mechanical inclination and eagerness to learn. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. + Effective communication skills and ability to read/speak English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with power tools and hand tools. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean manufacturing shop dealing with steel and sheet metal to manufacture parts for the aerospace industry. The environment can be heavy, loud, but organized. The shift is primarily from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with flexibility to adjust slightly. Saturdays are optional for those who volunteer, and the plant is closed on Sundays. Initial training starts at 7:00 am, every Tuesday for the first few days.
