Job Title: Systems Engineer IV Job Description Join our innovative team as a Systems Engineer IV where you will design and manage server monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair techniques. Responsibilities + Understand how commodity servers, operating systems, and networks function, perform, and scale. + Possess superb troubleshooting, project management, and problem analysis skills. + Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation. + Design server monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair. + Create processes that enhance operational workflow and provide positive customer outcomes. + Resolve problems at their root by looking for failure patterns amenable to long-term solutions via simplification and automation. + Recognize and adopt best practices in documentation, testing, security, operational support at scale, and efficient use of resources. + Develop appropriate metrics to demonstrate performance at improving operational efficiency. MUST HAVE Essential Skills + Electrical Testing + Low Voltage + High Speed Digital + Chip to Chip or Board to Board Communication + Communication Protocol + Bench Test Equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of C, C++, or VCS such as Git, Mercurial, SVN. + Understanding of AWS technologies. + Experience deploying or managing servers in large-scale geographically diverse environments. + Experience in managing and monitoring large-scale disk subsystems. + Operational knowledge of common enterprise switching and routing platforms. Work Environment This full-time position is based in our office in Redmond, WA.
