Mid-level SCADA and Industrial Control System Engineer

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Mid-level SCADA and Industrial Control System Engineer for our Arlington, VA office. Be involved in projects with our Federal Programs Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges Your Impact + Manage and document system requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder needs. + Analyze system architectures and recommend improvements to optimize performance, reliability, and safety. + Conduct system integrations and evaluate performance to ensure compliance with specifications. + Assist in overseeing interface management and ensure compatibility between system components. + Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks that may impact project outcomes. + Apply proven systems engineering methodologies to resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle. + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSPu2019s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. + Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent. + 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in an engineering discipline and prior systems engineering experience. + Due to client requirements, US citizenship is required. + Ability to obtain a US government Secret/Top Secret clearance. + Engineer in Training Certification. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients. + Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. + Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. + Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies, tools, and practices. + Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience. + Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. + Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPu2019s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
