We donu2019t settle until we give our best and know that weu2019re making a difference.We're looking for Digital Delivery VDC Engineer at our Wilson/Cary, North Carolina location for our Life Science North America teamwho is excited aboutworking on projects thatenable the heart of our clientsu2019 business.Join us and youu2019llhave the chance to work on projects including state of the artindustrial and commercialfacilities.Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-taskingand collaboration, and extreme organizational skills and weu2019ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together.Some of the responsibilities will include:u2022 Manage BIM models during the construction phase.u2022 Provide trade clash management including detection, resolution tracking, weekly meetings, etc.Ensure models are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project requirementsu2022 Ensure models are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project requirements.u2022 Operate and manage VDC tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revizto and related technologies.u2022 Provide technical expertise in implementing VDC workflows and integrating software solutions.u2022 Stay updated on emerging VDC technologies and recommend improvements for adoption.u2022 Act as a bridge between design, construction, and client teams to ensure effective communication.u2022 Facilitate regular coordination meetings to discuss model updates, issues, and progress.u2022 Provide training and support to project teams on VDC processes and tools.u2022 Proactively identify potential project risks using digital simulations and planning tools.u2022 Collaborate with teams to develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.u2022 Use data analytics and modeling to support decision-making processes.Construction Simulation and Planning:u2022 Develop and Manage 4D simulations to visualize project sequencing and timelines.u2022 Assist in creating virtual mockups to simulate construction processes and identify potential challenges.u2022 Analyze construction schedules against 3D models to optimize planning.Data Management and Standards Compliance:u2022 Ensure adherence to BIM standards, project-specific guidelines, and industry regulations.u2022 Manage and maintain the digital data environment for the project, ensuring data security and accessibility.u2022 Conduct regular audits of models and data for quality assurance.Reality Capture: (Laser, 360 Camera, Photogrammetry, VR)u2022 Manage software and perform site scans and walks as required.u2022 Provide teams with progress tracking data when available. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in construction management preferred, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degreeu2022 At least 5+ years of experience in industrial project delivery and/or construction managementModel Creation and Management:u2022 Experience with VDC tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revizto and related technologies.u2022 In-depth knowledge and experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud as the Central Data ExchangeIdeally youu2019ll have:u2022 A background in project execution in the Life Sciences field preferredu2022 Experience in or knowledge of reality capture methods and downstream data integrationsu2022 Power BI and/or dashboarding experienceu2022 Strong communication skills both verbal and writtenu2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsu2022 Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasu2022 Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseu2022 Ability to work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsu2022 Passion for buildings and construction#LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience#LI-SH1Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
