Description Summary: The Supervisor Food and Nutrition directly supervises food service associates and coordinates routine work activities and operations of the Food Services and Nutrition team. This individual provides support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements. Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed. 2. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. 3. Understands and follows all policies and procedures. 4. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. 5. Responsible for orientation and training of employees. 6. Performs day-to-day assignments in addition to oversight duties. 7. Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution. 8. Promote in the development of the food service team. 9. Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training. 10. Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures. 11. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. 12. Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. u2022 Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. 13. Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated. 14. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 15. Is flexible to complete other duties as assigned. WAYNE Other information: Education u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent required, any higher education from an accredited college will supersede this requirement. Licensure/Certification None. Experience Prior supervisory experience preferred.
