A Day in the Life: As a Senior Product Manager on Hertzu2019s Day of Rent team, you will be responsible for building software products that enhance the customer experience by offering a streamlined, self-service rental journey that enable customers to select a car from their phone and go directly to their car upon arrival. Our vision is to build customer preference through differentiated, self-service digital experiences that remove friction from the rental experience. This role requires strategic vision and hands-on leadership in defining product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering seamless, customer-centric digital experiences. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to build scalable solutions and ship features in a complex environment. Your role will involve modernizing legacy applications, manage technical debt, and integrate various systems to enhance customer experience. What You'll Do : u00b7 Define and prioritize product features that will enable the growth and scale of Hertz's initiatives, which is one of the major priorities of the business. u00b7 Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design, and data science teams both domestically and internationally. u00b7 Integrate AI tools and features into the product development process. u00b7 Work closely with the strategy, operations, and go to market teams to ensure there is a consistent and holistic approach from pilot to scaled solutions. u00b7 Communicate across constituencies: within cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (customers, partners, candidates, etc.) u00b7 Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision making u00b7 Articulate and systematically test product hypotheses u00b7 Navigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicators u00b7 Identify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the existing risk management platforms and tools. u00b7 Identify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the existing risk management platforms and tools. What We're Looking For: u00b7 Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, applied math, data science, operation research or related field required, MBA or masteru2019s degree preferred u00b7 5+ years of product management experience required. u00b7 Experience building or managing dynamic pricing systems, pricing experiments, or monetization features in consumer-facing digital businesses required. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into pricing decisions and product features u00b7 Strong communication skills. You must be able to work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and explain outcomes u00b7 Strong product sense. You must be able to align your work with business objectives and make appropriate tradeoffs u00b7 Learning mentality. You must be able to pick up new skills as needed and demonstrate a curiosity about new technologies u00b7 Ability to own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a product of limited to moderate complexity u00b7 Experience building or managing dynamic pricing systems, pricing experiments, or monetization features in consumer-facing digital businesses. u00b7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working closely with Data Science and Engineering teams. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into pricing decisions and product features. u00b7 Proven track record of delivering measurable revenue, margin, or attach rate improvements. The salary range for this position is starting at $150,000 with annual bonus and profit-sharing eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
