Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to contribute to the financial planning and analysis efforts of our organization in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of financial principles, and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Compile and distribute financial reports that highlight company volume trends and key performance metrics. u2022 Conduct variance analysis of income statements comparing actual results to budgets and prior years. u2022 Collaborate with department leaders to provide insights into financial data that drive business strategies. u2022 Take an active role in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. u2022 Assist in creating presentations for quarterly and annual Board of Director meetings, as well as end-of-period executive reports. u2022 Prepare ad-hoc financial reports to support various business needs, including acquisitions, financing, and divestitures. u2022 Analyze data and perform comparative analyses to recommend actionable insights. u2022 Develop innovative techniques for financial planning to enhance decision-making support. u2022 Utilize statistical tools to evaluate financial data and effectively communicate findings. u2022 Work efficiently in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in auditing and financial analysis within a complex, multi-department setting. u2022 Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP or similar systems is preferred. u2022 Strong knowledge of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and accounting principles. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities. u2022 Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide actionable recommendations. u2022 A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively. u2022 Proven ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
