Production Assembler

Job Title: Production Assembler Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Production Assembler where you will play a crucial role in assembling components according to detailed drawings and operation sheets. This position involves handling various tasks that contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality products. Responsibilities + Assemble components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets. + Conduct weighing, loading, and pressing operations. + Handle tooling and fixtures and use various hand tools to produce or modify parts. + Maintain count and order progress and log time and quantities. + Close and assemble units using crimping and closure tools, and apply epoxy. + Perform soldering tasks including small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding. + Assist with the packaging of pyrotechnic assemblies. Essential Skills + Experience in production assembly and wire soldering. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in soldering tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must comply with ITAR restrictions and be a US Person or Permanent Resident. + Ability to follow required company safety practices and quality procedures. + Capability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50lbs. Work Environment The position operates during shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off. Overtime may be required on Fridays. The work environment is focused on safety and quality, ensuring a productive and efficient workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ.
