This position is in support of the Chief Engineeru2019s Office on the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. We are seeking a dynamic and independently motivated Mechanical Engineer who will act as the FBM Program CAD Lead. This position will support the sustainment of the D5LE Flight System as well as the design and development of the Trident II Life Extension 2 Flight System for the U.S. Navy. This technical position supports and collaborates with the FBM Chief Engineer to represent the program for all MCAD topics such as DSR standard requirements, interpretation and application, and defining Creo, Creo View, and EPDM best practices. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education u2022 Experience with design and modeling of complex missile or launch vehicle systems u2022 Proven experience in advanced CAD modeling practices utilizing PTC Creo or similar tool u2022 Experience with Model Based Engineering and Agile tools and methods u2022 Excellent communication skills, with experience in engaging with large teams and leadership u2022 Current Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance Desired Skills: u2022 Masters degree in Science or Engineering preferred u2022 Experience as a conceptual thinker with ability to proactively translate into action and results u2022 Experience in strategic nuclear missile systems u2022 Demonstrated customer orientation by learning and understanding customersu2019 missions, needs, and perspectives u2022 Experience in working with the U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Program Office u2022 Experience in a development and test environment u2022 Current Top Secret security clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
