Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician ufeff Job Description The Maintenance Technician will be assigned to the Electrical Department and will function in a true multicraft role, requiring a balanced mix of mechanical and electrical expertise. This position is responsible for planning and performing a wide range of tasks to maintain, troubleshoot, service, and repair plant machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment. Responsibilities + Maintain and troubleshoot plant machinery and electrical systems. + Service and repair facility equipment. + Plan and perform various maintenance tasks. Essential Skills + 2-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience. + Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and repair. + Ability to work comfortably in a long-term 2nd or 3rd shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Possession of two certificates or a technical degree. + Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or in Machine Repair. Why Work Here? Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots, hair nets, beard nets, ear plugs, and either a white or blue coat. Adherence to hand washing policies is mandatory. Annual SQF and OSHA safety training is provided. The position involves working 2nd shift from 1:00pm to 9:00pm or 3rd shift from 9:00pm to 5:00am, Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday, with overtime on weekends. Currently, employees can expect to work at least 50 hours a week, often 6-7 days a week until the end of the year. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Austin, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66456.00 - $66456.00/yr. Benefits after 90 days. Competitive benefits and strong union environment.
