Description This position helps improve the productivity of employees by acting as an escalation point within our Service Desk team and by being the single point of contact for information and problem resolution. This is accomplished by diagnosing and resolving problems with hardware, software, LANs, and servers in a timely and professional manner via telephone, ticket, email, remote tools and hands-on support. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Assists the Level 3 with installs and repairs on: o Standalone and networked printers (Windows environment) o Video conferencing equipment o Other peripherals as assigned u2022 Responds to and investigates customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, ticket, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner u2022 Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues related to desktop/laptop devices on Windows 7/10 systems either in-person or remotely u2022 Provide support for identified Level 3 issues where solutions have already been documented and have a Runbook/Knowledgebase u2022 Escalates complex and advanced issues to Level 3 support, with full descriptions of problems and actions taken prior u2022 Identify and suggest possible improvements on processes and procedures u2022 Maintain working knowledge of products and/or services u2022 Other tasks as assigned Experience/Education u2022 MSP background is a plus (not a requirement). u2022 A+ is also a plus (again, not a requirement) u2022 5 years IT experience IT Related u2022 Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) u2013 Large user base with these apps u2022 Required: Proficient in Hardware support and troubleshooting u2013 Needs to know how to test and fix faulty hardware, swap out, etc. u2022 Required: Proficient in Network Printers and troubleshooting u2013 Tons of Network printers in BRIS, this is a must u2022 PC Imaging, or some form of knowledge within this area u2022 Laptop and Desktop deployment u2022 IOS and Android familiarity. We deploy a ton of cell phones and tablets. Will need this in Bristol u2022 Basic Active Directory knowledge, password resets, etc. u2022 Basic Azure knowledge, or able to quickly learn on the fly (not a ton done here, just need it for misc. tasks) u2022 Basic networking knowledge. There are times we need to work with the upper IT departments and having this is helpful Skills Infrastructure, Windows 10, Active directory, Troubleshooting, imaging, deployment, onedrive, microsoft teams, customer service oriented, Desktop Support Additional Skills & Qualifications Soft Skills u2022 People person, needs to have a good attitude, friendly and outgoing u2022 Thick skin, this site is tough and needs someone who can roll with the punches u2022 On the fly adaptability u2013 lots of different assignments, changes day to day. u2022 Show up and be punctual u2022 Self-motivated Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
