Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate and become an integral part of our production line. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products through careful inspection and adherence to safety and performance standards. This entry-level role offers a hands-on experience in a clean and safe plant environment, with opportunities for skill development and career advancement. Responsibilities + Conduct visual inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met. + Follow all safety, quality, performance, and attendance rules diligently. + Load and unload glass on various conveyor systems. + Move racks of product using powered industrial trucks. + Band racks of product according to specifications. + Pack product into racks for shipment to other areas of the plant or to customers. + Perform adjustments and minor repairs to machinery as needed or directed. + Generate and maintain appropriate records as required. + Achieve operator certification in all functions worked. + Participate and embrace continuous improvement (LEAN) actions. Work Environment The work takes place in a clean and safe plant production environment. Employees are well-trained, and attendance is crucial with a 3-point system in the first 90 days. Safety shoes, which must be leather, are required, and the company provides high-visibility vests, ear protection, and safety eyewear. The shift is from 6:30 PM to 6:45 AM, with orientation on the first shift during the first week from Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vonore, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $22.32/hr.
