Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to support the production of highu2011quality steel products. Youu2019ll handle weld preparation, execution, finishing, and repairs u2014 including fixing submerged arc weld seams using specialized equipment. ? Key Responsibilities + Perform welding & finishing operations to meet quality standards + Repair discontinuities in submerged arc weld seams + Interpret and follow customer specifications & drawings + Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment + Use precision measuring instruments for inspections + Perform grinding using manual & power tools + Follow all safety & housekeeping standards + Complete additional assigned duties ? Essential Skills & Qualifications + Minimum 1 year welding experience + Proficiency in assigned welding techniques + Knowledge of weld setup parameters (amps, volts, etc.) + Experience with precision measuring tools + Ability to use mobile device applications u2b50 Preferred Qualifications + Successful completion of internal welding test + Experience with: + MIG + Flux Core + Dual Shield + Ability to read and interpret blueprints Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Charles, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $49920.00/yr.
