The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon Missile Defense products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are located in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. TEE has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and sustainment. TEE is looking for Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test environment systems for all Raytheon effector products. What You Will Do + Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments + Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements + Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions Qualifications You Must Have + Bacheloru2019s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum two (2) years of work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field + Two (2) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production support + Two (2) yearsu2019 experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric + Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis + Experience creating mechanical drawing packages + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
