Eatonu2019s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician II. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: Position Overview: The Assembler II will be responsible for achieving daily production goals with focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role will be responsible for assembling Low Voltage Assemblies. They will execute all required tasks including, but not limited to Assembler I roles (Flex and Lean) and assembly machine operation. PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label making, quality checks, and material transactions in AS400. In this function you will: u2022 May be required to have or complete QEW certification to perform electrical tests on assemblies. u2022 Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust or repair assemblies. u2022 Use of layout, drill, saw, punch, rivet, caulk and paint material as required. u2022 Apply identification labeling on completed assemblies as required. u2022 Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line as needed to initiate the assembly process. u2022 Prepare assemblies for shipment or storage, as appropriate during the final assembly process. u2022 Comply with all safety policies/procedures and WSRAu2019s. u2022 Follow standard operating procedures and method sheets. u2022 Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings. u2022 Comply with written or oral instruction from supervisor. u2022 Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembling. u2022 Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications. u2022 Flex to other areas as needed or perform tasks in other positions as needed. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: u2022 Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. u2022 6 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment u2022 6 months of experience using hand and air tools Skills: Position Criteria: u2022 Proven problem-solving skills. u2022 Collaborate with team members. u2022 Being flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks. u2022 Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace. (5S+) u2022 Able to work independently with minimum direction. u2022 Ability to stand for long periods. u2022 Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
