Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate with the ability to lift up to 70lbs regularly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail and possess the ability to measure and weigh materials accurately. The primary role will involve operating as a bagging operator, ensuring the smooth and proper filling of plastic bagging materials on the production line. Responsibilities + Ensure rolls of plastic bagging materials run smoothly and fill properly on the line. + Maintain cleanliness and free of debris of machinery and surrounding areas during downtime. + Operate machinery or equipment as trained, following all safety guidelines. + Assist lead operator in preparing for shift production. Essential Skills + Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a regular basis. + Ability to measure and weigh materials. + Attention to detail. + Experience in production, general labor, forklift operation, and machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous forklift operation experience preferred. + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. + Capability to follow company production and safety procedures. + Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers. + Competence in performing basic arithmetic operations. + Demonstrated ability in lock out tag out procedures. + Completion of internal certification training. + Participation in weekly safety meetings. + Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
