Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in Frederica, Delaware. In this role, you will handle a range of financial tasks, including invoicing, payment reconciliation, and collections. This is a Contract to permanent position within the manufacturing industry, offering both remote onboarding and onsite training for local candidates. Responsibilities: u2022 Process a high volume of client invoices with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Record incoming payments and perform daily cash application to maintain accurate customer accounts. u2022 Reconcile financial transactions in US dollars and ensure compliance with company procedures. u2022 Conduct collection activities, including clear and attentive communication with clients regarding outstanding balances. u2022 Maintain organized and detailed records of all accounts receivable transactions. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly. u2022 Assist with additional accounting tasks, including accounts payable processes, as needed. u2022 Participate in remote onboarding and receive onsite training to ensure seamless integration into the team. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting or a related field, or near completion of the degree program. u2022 Familiarity with basic accounting principles and concepts. u2022 Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks with focus and accuracy. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms. u2022 Capability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. u2022 Previous experience in invoicing, payment application, or collections is beneficial but not mandatory. u2022 Willingness to learn accounts receivable and accounts payable processes with provided training.
