Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Corporate Litigation Associate Attorney to join a leading plaintiff-side class action firm in Wilmington, Delaware. This role offers the chance to be deeply involved in impactful cases, specifically focusing on shareholder derivative litigation, while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and draft compelling pleadings, motions, and legal briefs to support case objectives. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform litigation strategy and decision-making. u2022 Develop and implement case strategies, including risk evaluations and positioning for optimal outcomes. u2022 Oversee discovery processes, including document reviews, depositions, and drafting discovery requests and responses. u2022 Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal appearances. u2022 Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff to ensure high-quality client service and case outcomes. u2022 Maintain accurate and organized case documentation, billing records, and correspondence. u2022 Provide critical support in managing complex shareholder derivative litigation. u2022 Contribute to a collegial team environment while working on high-stakes cases. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Active license and good standing with a state bar. u2022 At least one year of litigation experience, with preference given to candidates familiar with shareholder derivative cases. u2022 Strong legal research, writing, and verbal advocacy skills. u2022 Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. u2022 Self-driven, intellectually curious, and eager to take on significant responsibilities. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting. u2022 Interest in corporate accountability and shareholder rights litigation.
