summary: Warehouse Lead – Alpha Brands Location:Broward Department: Operations / Warehouse Reports To: Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Warehouse Lead at Alpha Brands is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory handling, efficient workflow, and adherence to company standards. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse associates, supports operational goals, and maintains a safe, organized, and productive environment. Operational Leadership Lead, train, and support warehouse associates during daily activities. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure completion of operational priorities. Assist in onboarding new hires and reinforcing proper procedures. Receiving & Shipping Oversee inbound and outbound shipment processes. Verify accuracy of received products, packing lists, and shipping documentation. Ensure proper staging, labeling, and routing of materials. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and audits. Report discrepancies and support root-cause investigations. Ensure products are stored properly and rotated using FIFO/FEFO methods. Warehouse Organization & Safety Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards. Enforce company policies, safety guidelines, and equipment procedures. Identify hazards and escalate maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Equipment Operation Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure associates follow equipment checklists and safety measures. required-skills: Qualifications 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience; leadership experience preferred. Proficiency with warehouse systems (WMS) and basic computer skills. Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA guidelines. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
