What You Can Expect: + Conflict resolution and de-escalation. + Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. + Frequent interactions with client employees and guests. + Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. + Work directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community. + Security screen all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities. + Monitor surveillance cameras. + Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. Basic Requirements: + 18 years of age or older. + High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. + Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone. + Customer service background preferred. + Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus + Must be able to interact with a wide range of customers in a calm and professional manner. + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift. + Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. + All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companyu2019s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. + Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
