This role offers you dynamic work functions from coordinating, planning and engaging with education programming services as you support patients in recovery.ResponsibilitiesYou will perform Substance Use Disorder assessments in office-based, inpatient, or community settings as necessary; develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and conduct individual and group counseling sessions within the provisions of MultiCare's policies and standards, as well as local, state, federal and other regulatory requirementsYou will respond to referrals from various locations in the community in the most effective, efficient and safe manner possible in order to perform Substance Use Disorder assessment and make treatment recommendations and care coordinationYou will provide care coordination and case management services, brief therapy, and motivational interviewing with a focus on rapid placement into the least restrictive appropriate level of careYou will develop relationships with community resources and develop treatment and safety plans to assist individuals and their natural and professional supports in resolving chemically induced crisesYou will provide and connect patients and professionals with accurate program and agency resourcesYou will complete all required documentationRequirementsBachelor's degree in related field preferredCurrent WA State Substance Use Disorder Professional certificationDrivers License/AbstractMinimum one (1) year of recent work experience as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)About Navos Behavioral HealthNavos, part of MultiCare's Behavioral Health Network, offers comprehensive behavioral health care for people of all ages.
