Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Coordinates with shipyard personnel, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations in structural team work including welding, fabricating, pipe fitting, testing, inpecting, ship-fitting, and other steel worker trades' work.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, organize, and supervise all phases of assigned structural projects.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Monitor project progress and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines.Maintain accurate records of timesheets, budgets, and project municate effectively with shipyard management and internal stakeholders.Provide leadership, training, and performance feedback to team members.Implement inspection checklists and quality control measures IAW policies and procedures.Coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.Oversee welding and fitting operations for hull repairs, structural modifications, and new installations.Manage SHIPALTS and structural repairs to U.S. Navy, Commercial, and other marine vessels.Ensure work aligns with engineering drawings and OQE requirements for nuclear Navy projects, as assigned.Coordinate structural inspections and collaborate with engineering teams for repair solutions.Ensure all fire safety programs are adhered to at all times by all personnel.
