Our client, a leading manufacturer of food packaging products, is seeking a Paper Process Engineer to join their team. This position can be based in Chicago, IL, Federalsburg, MD, or Leola, PA. You will play a key role in managing and improving process control systemsu2014from raw materials to finished products. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects, optimize production efficiency, and drive innovation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You Will Do + Manage and complete projects of varying sizes and durations + Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and designers to optimize processes + Lead process failure investigations and implement long-term solutions + Conduct feasibility studies for fabrication and processing improvements + Assist with assembly and disassembly of process equipment + Troubleshoot and implement engineering solutions to enhance operations + Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes + Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and product quality + Create test parameters and analyze performance data for process optimization + Develop and execute continuous improvement plans + Mentor and guide junior engineers What you will bring: + Bacheloru2019s degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered + Experience analyzing production equipment, processes and materials and solving issues + Proven experience in project management + Strong coordination and leadership skills + Ability to conduct feasibility studies and troubleshoot engineering issues + Experience in developing SOPs and continuous improvement plans + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers + Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, additional travel may be required during critical projects or business demands + Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driveru2019s license and passport + Valid driveru2019s license and favorable motor vehicle report upon hire TRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily here ( We are an equal opportunity employer.
