If so, we want to talk to youDesign Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production leadership team.As the Assistant Production Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our success and growth.This role is a combination of supervisor responsibilities (training, leading, coaching, performance management) along with also being able to jump in and help do the work as needed to meet production this role, you will be responsible for driving the process of continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles. Additionally, you will lead the teams performance with respect to strong communication, safety, high quality, and on-time delivery.THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION, M-F 2:30 PM-11:00PMKey Responsibilities- Review workload forecast and plan for needed capacity and flex resources to eliminate bottlenecks- Monitor all work centers and identify need to add or subtract labor in collaboration with Production Planner- Lead and promote a team orientated culture driven to hit and exceed set goals- Organize and communicate over time to ensure the team is prepared- Champion excellent quality, 5S and continuous improvement manufacturing- Collaborate with the quality department to eliminate workmanship defects- Manage in Process Changes to ensure correct changes are made to the product as well as documentation- Handle and support MRB material in collaboration with inventory specialist to acquire replacement material- Partner with Human Resources for employee support such as: interviews, reviews, necessary documentation- Complete monthly safety training with all direct reports - ensuring safety policies are understood and enforcedEducation Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and/or 5+ years of Production Supervision experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)```{=html}```- Knowledge of various tools, fasteners, torque specs, etc. (preferred)- Proficient with Windows based ERP/MRP systems - M1 experience (preferred)Abilities Skills- Strong math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills- High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others- Great attention to detail, organization, time management skills and problem solving- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to determine labor hours, capacity, percentages etc.- Capability to read schematics to determine proper wire routing, gauge, labeling, etc. (preferred)- Proven ability to utilize common sense understanding to carry out instructions (written, oral, or diagram form)- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goodsCompensation and Benefits:- Competitive Salary:$62,000.00-$72,000.00DOE- Comprehensive Benefits Package:- - Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Life Insurance, Disability, ADD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Floating Holidays, ESST.
