(Licensed Clinician) Location:Milwaukee, WI Social Services La Causa Social Services is seeking acompassionate and skilled Licensed Clinician to join our Crisis ResponseTeam, providing overnight community-based assessments and interventionsfor youth and adults experiencing mental health or AODA crises. You will use yourclinical expertise to make recommendations about Emergency Detentionholds and connect individuals and families with needed resources. WhatYou'll Do: Conduct psychosocial assessments of youth and adults toevaluate risk and determine dangerousness to self or others intervene inacute mental health or AODA crises within the community, includingsituations involving police presence De-escalate, stabilize, and resolvemental health crises while ensuring safety Make recommendationsregarding Chapter 51 Emergency Detention holds based on assessmentsCollaborate with Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services, hospitals,law enforcement, CART teams, and other community partners Provideeducation to families and community stakeholders on crisis managementand mental health services Complete thorough, detailed documentation ofall assessments, interventions, and recommendations Ensure compliancewith all organizational, legal, and contractual requirements Attendmeetings, training, and professional development activities as directedFulfill mandated reporting duties related to child and adult safetySupport the team by taking on additional responsibilities as assignedWhat We're Looking For: Master's degree in social work, Psychology, ora related field required Valid Wisconsin State licensure, free oflimitations, must be certified or licensed to work as a LicensedProfessional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),Licensed Marriage & Family...
