The Employment, Banking, and Revenue IT Delivery Center Solutions Management Division for Revenue is eager to welcome an ambitious Senior Applications Developer to lead a team of staff through the systems development life cycle. In this critical role, you will be designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining business functions within the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH) system. Take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to influence and enhance the operational efficiency of our systems while leading a talented teamDESCRIPTION OF WORKAs part of the Delivery Center, you will perform development and maintenance activities for the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH) system. Work involves planning, controlling, directing, and implementing development projects; providing leadership to project staff throughout the systems development life cycle; and ensuring effective utilization of hardware, software, personnel, and other resources in meeting goals. Assigned projects will require use of a COTS integrated tax processing software package. Excellent networking skills will be utilized to meet with business team members to discuss requests for customization and determine the feasibility, detailed requirements, and the priority for each request for new development or enhancements to the PATH system. Within this role, it is essential to maintain a working knowledge of the latest state-of-the-art technology and advancements as they apply to application order to help us achieve our goals, our ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:Working with the COTS integrated tax processing software package, GenTaxActing as a development team leadDesigning and supporting various tax system components: Collections, Decision Support, Tax Clearance, Case Management, Bankruptcy, Bank Attachment, Wage Garnishment, Liens, and Payment PlansGathering requirements and performing system analysis, design, documentation, development, and testingExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to function in an atmosphere of constant change with detailed accuracyAbility to function within team-based organizationAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels within the organization as well as outside agencies and vendorsMake your career goals a reality with the Revenue, Lottery, Insurance, and Banking and Securities DivisionInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.u00a0 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFive years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; orThree years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; orOne year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time professional experience working with C#.This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.This particular position also requires three or more years of full-time professional experience working with .Net Framework 4.7 and above.You must meet the PA residency requirement.
