Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first Humana's Clinical Analytics Team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer 2 (Remote). The Clinical Analytics Data Infrastructure Team works closely within the Clinical Analytics organization at Humana. We partner closely with different strategy partners and analytical team members to automate and optimize different clinical programs and outreaches with the goal of improving a member's health outcomes. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 will work within the Data Infrastructure team to partner with different teams within Clinical Analytics to automate and optimize different analytical resources. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will: + Work with large and complex data sets that requires you to be comfortable with joining, filtering, and transposing the data to fit the current need. + Be coding/working within Databricks. Knowing SQL is a must with the preference being python/pyspark knowledge. + Developing automations across Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft Products such as Power Automate. Having a mindset surrounding how to set up a process end to end is utlmately the goal of every project you will be working on. + Translating current processes/business requests into an end to end process. Having a general level of curiosity and a passion for data and getting into the details of the request. + Developing Front End Dashboards to better support/educate your business partners. Our primary dashboard development tool that is utilized is Power BI. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related fields + Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills + Flexible, dynamic personality who can work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team + 1+ years experience coding in SQL and/or Python. + Experience manipulating and analyzing data using SQL, Python, R, or similar software + Understanding of basic methods for data analysis, summarizing data, and creating data visualizations Preferred Qualifications + Healthcare or managed care working experience + Experience working with medical, pharmacy, lab claims + Demonstrated familiarity with full end to end process development, including data creation, storage, and pipeline automation. + Experience with translating legacy processes from on premise databases to cloud based systems. + Experience using Pyspark, DataBricks, and/or Microsoft Azure Additional Information This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $66,800 - $91,100 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
