Position Summary: Levyu2019s On-Deck Summer Internship is a 10-week, project-based program with a focus on improving business operations on a strategic and multifunctional level. Interns will be exposed to Levyu2019s unique culture, personal and professional development workshops, and standards of service at Levyu2019s Home Office in Chicago, IL. This summer internship program is offered to full-time college students interested in a career in hospitality, sports and entertainment, or data analytics. Upon successful completion of the On-Deck program, interns have the potential to receive a full-time, entry-level position post-graduation. Key Responsibilities: On- Deck Interns will work independently or in a partnership/group on their 10-week project and will follow a structured curriculum presenting their findings to Levy Leadership at the conclusion of the summer. Professionalism, time management, problem solving, and eagerness to learn are expectations of each intern. The Talent Analytics Intern responsibilities may include (but will not be limited to): u2981 Support the Talent Analytics team in analyzing complex employee data u2981 Create polished reporting that captures key takeaways from complex datasets u2981 Present findings and communicate analyses to key internal stakeholders Required Qualifications: u2981 Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university/college majoring in an appropriate discipline u2981 A skilled multitasker who works with a sense of urgency u2981 A team player with the ability to work cohesively with Levy team members and fellow interns alike u2981 An effective communicator comfortable engaging with potential guests, leadership and key stakeholders u2981 Hospitality focused individual with a desire to learn and grow within the industry u2981 Ability to provide own housing and transportation accommodation to Levyu2019s Chicago Home Office for the duration of the 10-week program u2981 Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex datasets with ability to pull out insights u2981 Ability to create professional and insightful reports for both internal and external stakeholders u2981 Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, etc.) u2981 Desire to solve problems with data u2981 Understanding of basic statistics Helpful Qualifications u2981 Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R u2981 Understanding of any of these models: relational models, dimensional models, hierarchical models, predictive & prescriptive analytics, regression models, classification models, optimization models, database querying and visual discovery u2981 Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Recruiting data (ATS), Demographic data, employee engagement data, labor data Levy is an equal opportunity employer.
