Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and be comfortable working with modern accounting software. Responsibilities: u2022 Process invoices efficiently and ensure they are coded accurately according to company standards. u2022 Manage payment schedules, including ACH transactions and check runs, to maintain timely vendor payments. u2022 Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and approvals for all payments. u2022 Utilize Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage accounts payable workflows effectively. u2022 Monitor accounts payable aging reports and take necessary actions to address overdue payments. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations in all payment processes. u2022 Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. u2022 Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and implement best practices. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date records for auditing and reporting purposes. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and account coding processes. u2022 Hands-on experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. u2022 Skilled in using Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. u2022 Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations applicable to accounts payable. u2022 Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
