Job Description Engagement Manager, Oncology & Specialty Therapeutics (IC3) Research Consulting Team Lead Remote United States Role Overview The Engagement Manager, Oncology & Specialty Therapeutics (OST) is a senior, client-facing consulting role within Oracle Life Sciences Research Services, and is within the Commercial & Market Access organization. This role sits at the intersection of oncology science, strategic consulting, and data-driven insights, supporting biopharma clients in making high-impact decisions across commercialization, portfolio strategy, and competitive positioning. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Consulting Leadership + Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-method oncology consulting engagements, including qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research + Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for biopharma clients, translating scientific and commercial questions into structured research approaches and actionable recommendations + Deliver clear, compelling storytelling, often through executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, synthesizing complex data into strategic narratives for senior audiences + Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders across commercial, medical, strategy, and business development functions Product & Content Leadership (CancerMPactu00ae) + Provide product and content leadership for the CancerMPactu00ae oncology data and insights offer + Support the evolution of methodologies, insights, and positioning to ensure continued scientific rigor and commercial relevance + Help clients maximize the value of syndicated data for pipeline planning, launch strategy, competitive intelligence, and lifecycle management, through demonstrations and pitches Business Development & Growth + Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships through custom consulting engagements, extensions of syndicated offerings, and new solution concepts + Contribute to proposal development, study design, scoping of new work, project team organizer and overall project execution and client satisfaction + Bring creativity, commercial acumen, and drive to help grow the custom consulting business within OST Internal Collaboration & Cross-Domain Integration + Collaborate closely with internal teams across Market Research, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and other Oracle Life Sciences and Oracle Health domains on oncology relevant opportunities + Help integrate primary research, syndicated data, and real-world data assets into cohesive, high-value client solutions Team Leadership & Execution + Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on research execution, analysis, storytelling, and client engagement + Own project outcomes, including timelines, budgets, quality, and client satisfaction + Demonstrate strong accountability and a hands-on approach to delivery Qualifications & Experience + 7+ years of consulting or commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with demonstrated success in oncology + PhD in Life Sciences or MD with oncology experience + Strong understanding of oncology biology, drug development, and commercialization strategies. + Proven client-facing leadership experience and strong primary market research capabilities. + Excellent communication and storytelling skills, particularly in PowerPoint. + Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating independently. + Willingness to travel up to 10%. Preferred + Experience with syndicated data products, RWE/EHR/claims data, or analytics and visualization tools. Design, develop, and execute data- and technology, clinical-centered solutions for the client. Author or provide peer review for clinical and technical reports based on primary or secondary research outcomes. Performs independently varied and moderately complex analysis, clinical studies. Make recommendations to inter-disciplinary team in researching new product offerings on external customer engagements. Strategize with business development teams and leadership to uncover opportunities and drive growth. Advise engagement leaders on execution and completion of custom projects within area of focus. Manage research project management activities, including documentation of process and methodologies, timeline management, resource management, meeting facilitation, and client interface and communication. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
