*Job Description** **Position Title** **: ** **Pulp Mill – Area Process Manager (Digesters)** **Pay Rate** : $108,200 - $144,300 _Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range._ **Category/Shift** : Salaried Full-Time **Physical Location** : Mansfield Mill 1202 Highway 509 Mansfield, LA 71104 318-872-5100 **The Job You Will Perform:** The Pulp Mill - Area Process Manager (Digesters) provides leadership and support to the Primary Products Superintendent, day managers, department shift managers, and the Pulp Mill crews to ensure success. Candidates must have a strong propensity to champion department safety by taking the lead on all safety programs with the goal of an accident free environment. The APM – Pulp (Digesters)is responsible for ensuring a focus on safety above all else, quality, and productivity through daily interaction with operations. The role is responsible for the operational activities including crew and manager training, communication, and capital project management. Participate in all department reliability and cost reduction initiatives. This position plays a vital role in developing, as needed, and maintaining the Pulp Mill Department training and development system for all department personnel and establishing clear learning expectations and accountability. The Pulp Mill Area Manager also provides support for day-to-day troubleshooting, product quality, and customer satisfaction. **The Skills You Will Bring:** Qualified candidates must possess a solid understanding of the Pulp Mill Area and a thorough knowledge of continuous digesters, diffusion washer, and Caustic Plant processes. This includes key understandings of the Critical parameters that impact safety, environmental, costs, quality, and customers. Experience and knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management) and Cluster Rules is a requirement. Candidates must also possess a clear ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks, an understanding of team concepts, a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as an established skill to execute work based on standards and procedures.
