The position involves patient care,research and teaching. This position requires work to be completedonsite, at a designated campus work location. Applicants for thisposition will be considered for the following titles: AssistantProfessor, Associate Professor, Professor. The title is determined bythe experience and qualifications of the finalist. This position hasbeen identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerablepopulations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initialcaregiver check to be eligible for employment under Key JobResponsibilities: Clinical responsibilities include outpatient epilepsyclinics and may include general neurology resident clinics depending ondepartment needs. When not outpatient attending, candidate willparticipate in IONM, epilepsy/EEG attending services UW Health Hospitalsand Clinics, the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and/orother affiliated regional locations. A substantial portion of time willbe devoted to developing an extramurally funded research program. Thecandidate will join a team of research faculty and staff conductingcutting-edge research within a collaborative atmosphere. Teachingefforts would include participation or development of a unique orexceptional teaching program in a clinical or classroom setting,including but not limited to lectures, seminars, one-on-one clinicalsetting, program or course director, etc. Additional teachingresponsibilities would include teaching medical students, residents, andfellows within the context of the candidate's clinical practice.
