The IAM team supports the authentication andauthorization requirements needed by both enterprise customers as wellas internal engineering teams within Cribl. You'll work with a driventeam that balances technical excellence with operational discipline.This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll help shapedesign decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure we deliver robustdistributed systems that run at scale in production. Build andgrow exceptional teams - Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineeringtalent while keeping a high bar. Navigate complexity - Collaborate across engineering,product, SRE, and architecture teams to align priorities, clarifyrequirements, and deliver outcomes. Champion operational excellence -Establish a culture of observability, reliability, and quality. Ensuresystems are built with monitoring, alerting, and operational disciplinebaked in. Stay technical - Provide hands-on code reviews,architecture guidance, and debugging support. Jump into productionissues when needed and identify design problems early. Note: Thisposition will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties to supportour managed product uptime. If You've Got It - We Want It 2+ yearsas an EM or Technical Lead - Experience managing high-performing teams,specifically those focused on product-facing platforms or SaaSfoundations. Strong technical foundation - Prior experience as a TechLead or Staff+ engineer building backend systems. You can debugproduction issues, review complex code, and make sound architecturaldecisions. Operational mindset - Deep experience running productionsystems with on-call rotations. You know how to build observable,reliable systems and have managed on-call as an EM. Proven teambuilder - Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strongengineers across all levels. Collaborative leader - Skilled atworking across teams, driving alignment in ambiguous situations, andcommunicating technical tradeoffs to diverse audiences. Systemsdepth - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalable andhighly available system design, with a built-in curiosity to go deeperinto the system to understand the
