This is a full-time positionsupporting projects inWisconsin, and the surrounding area(s). Thisposition offers the opportunity to support both field and office-basedprojects, depending on project needs, and can be hired at the followinglevels: Assistant Project Wetland Scientist- Typically with at least 3years of relevant experience andexpertise. Associate Project WetlandScientist- Typically with at least 5 years of relevant experienceandexpertise. What you willaccomplish Apply a broad range of environmental compliance experience tosupport regional renewable energy and transmission focused projectsrelated to Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and other resourceplanning/permitting, and/or natural resource disciplines. Completetechnical writing assignments focused on the reporting and permitting ofenvironmental compliance documents. Support projects as a task leadand/or project manager depending onlevelof experience and careeraspirations. Use topographic maps, aerial photographs, GPS units, andother tools for the preparation andexecutionfield studies. In the field,oversee a crew or work independently while supporting a variety of datacollection needs including wetland delineation, vegetative surveys,protected species and habitat surveys as well as construction complianceefforts. Data processing, review, and analysis. Take responsibility forteam safety, develop safety plans (when applicable),andanticipatepotential safety hazards. Experience and qualifications forsuccess Bachelor's degree in Biology, Botany, Environmental Science,Fisheries and Wildlife Science, Ecology, ora relatedfield.
