We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications Performs multiple Information System support functions including logistics, report generation and computer room operations. Orders, tracks, receives, stocks, picks, ships, transports and issues Information System controlled inventory. Maintains inventory records and disposes of surplus inventory. Performs routines to accomplish data backups, report generation, accounting and clerical tasks. Follows established operational and control procedures. Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: + Orders, tracks, receives, stocks, picks, ships, transports and issues Information Systems inventory in a timely manner + Ensures received shipments conform to requirements for condition, quantity, and specifications specified on purchase orders + Maintains equipment and parts inventory records; shipping and receiving documents following established policies and procedures + Sets inventory reorder points and reorder limits based on device population and maintenance history + Maintains adequate quantities of replacement equipment based on assigned reorder points and reorder limits + Initiates purchase of additional spares when appropriate + Follows established procedures to prevent loss or theft of Methodist property + Recommends and coordinates disposal of surplus equipment, including all processing, packaging and shipment + Prepares and submits all necessary paperwork to effect equipment disposal and inventory tracking + Loads and unloads data backup tapes. Ensures that reports and tapes are properly labeled, stored and distribute + Documents and communicates daily processing status, problems, and unusual situations to Management and Clients in order to ensure coordinated production processing and problem resolution + Maintains proper record retention and participates in audits + Generates order requisitions for all consumable supplies within the operating environment + Makes recommendations to improve service capabilities + Effectively works with customers, vendors, Service Desk and Technical Services personnel + Participates in meetings, committees and continuing education to improve individual, departmental and organizational performance + Adheres to and supports HCA IT&S standards, policies and procedures + Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care and employee information + Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission & Value Statement + Assists with other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Manages and prioritizes workload + Demonstrates ability to multi-task + Effectively communicates verbally and in writing + Possesses proficiency in MS Office applications + Has knowledge of inventory management principles + Has accounting and clerical tasks skills + Education & Experience + High School Diploma or equivalent required + Must have one year IT experience in computer operations + Experience with warehouse operations preferred ITG ( transforms healthcare and givespeople healthier tomorrows .
