17881BR Title: NP / Physician Assistant Department/Cost Center: 847 - Employee Health Job Description: Highland Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner for its Employee Health Office. Candidates for this role would be asked to fill in Provider coverage gaps when needed and available. Highland's Employee Health Office is open Monday - Friday, Days, which is when potential shifts would be worked. Some duties include but are not limited to: The NP will perform pre-employment physicals including review of systems, physical exam, and clearance to work. Must also evaluate and treat employee injuries through workersu2019 compensation. Evaluate and treat employee illnesses including fit for work evaluations. + Performs Pre-Employment medical histories and physical examinations + Determines necessary medical clearance documentation for new hires and/or return to work + Assesses and treats employee with work-related injuries, illnesses, or exposures and completes required forms and communicates/collaborates with the Analyst of Leave Administration and/or Department Managers + Performs annual health assessment updates; places and reads TB skin tests + Acts as a resource for employees who have medical questions and or concerns + Identifies and participates in professional development and continuing educational activities + Other duties as assigned Salary Range: $70 - 100 per hour depending on shift annually _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the jobu2019s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ Auto req ID: 17881BR Job Requirements: Education: Fulfilled the educational requirements to practice as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in NYS Experience: 1-2 years experience as a nurse practitioner with experience in Occupational medicine.
