Position Equivalent FTE: 1.0 No. Months: 12 Position Number: 011841 FLSA Status Exempt (does not accrue overtime) Position Type Classified Bargaining Unit Supervisory & Professional Administrators Association Range 3 Department Information Technology The Position Under the direction of the Manager of Campus PC Services or designated supervisor, this position provides advanced technical support for campus operations, ensuring reliable and secure technology services for all administrative end users. This role performs a broad range of highly specialized technical and supervisory tasks to maintain and enhance end-user technology services. Positions in this classification are critical to sustaining core network infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted access to network and services for major campuses or sites. Generally speaking, hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. u2013 5:00 p.m. However, selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours as directed based on the departmentu2019s needs. Desired Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: + Proficient with Identity & Access Management including Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD, Group Policy. + Ability to scale endpoint management (Windows/macOS): image deployment, patching, and configuration baselines using tools such as Intune and Autopilot; integration with Apple School Manager for device enrollment and management. + Strong experience with Microsoft 365/Exchange Online/Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, endpoint security including governance and secure collaboration for administrative users. + Demonstrate ability to install Cat6 UTP copper network patch cables between network switches, desktop computers, and other end devices. Be able to troubleshoot network connectivity issues using diagnostic test equipment. + Understanding of principles of local and wide area network development, implementation, and administration. + Knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as TCP /IP, HTTP , HTTPS , DHCP , NAT , 802.1u00d7. + Experience leading technical teams, including workload planning, performance feedback, and training. + Working knowledge of IT service management and experience using Service Desk analytics to identify trends and improve services. + Demonstrate customeru2011service orientation and partnership mindset when engaging with leadership and departmental stakeholders. + Ability to diagnose complex network and endpoint issues across campus, including performance tuning and service restoration. + Exceptional communication skills to leadership and direct reports with the ability to translate technical concepts for end users and adept at managing expectations and status reporting. + Skill in coordinating with various teams including District Enterprise IT team to deliver campus infrastructure upgrades and technology rollouts. + Experience leading successful campus technology rollouts. + Demonstrate ability to set standards, develop procedures, and ensure adherence for campus technology support and network operations. + Experience developing clear technical documentation and guidance for end users. + Meet established priorities and schedules. + Work effectively and independently on assigned projects. + Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with professional standards. + Actively contribute to a culture of constructive collaboration and innovation with colleagues. + Keep current on emerging/new technologies and industry standards. + Sensitivity and understanding of persons of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability backgrounds. Education and Experience: + Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, computer information systems, computer engineering, or a related field. + Graduate degree in Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred. + At least eight years of progressively responsible information systems experience of which at least four were in a supervisory capacity and four years or more relevant hands-on professional IT experience. + Experience in higher education and/or governmental setting is preferred.
