Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join a dynamic law firm in Cleveland, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position focuses on supporting the litigation team within the real estate division. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to trial preparation, drafting legal documents, and managing case files. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and organize trial materials, ensuring all necessary documents are ready for litigation proceedings. u2022 Draft and file legal documentation related to real estate cases, adhering to court requirements and deadlines. u2022 Conduct discovery tasks, including gathering and reviewing evidence, and managing related communications. u2022 Utilize case management software to track and update case progress, ensuring accurate recordkeeping. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys and team members to develop case strategies and manage workloads effectively. u2022 Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of case preparation and documentation. u2022 Assist in civil litigation processes, including research and procedural support. u2022 Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations during case handling. u2022 Actively contribute to a team-oriented environment by sharing insights and problem-solving strategies. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably within litigation. u2022 Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certification are highly preferred. u2022 Proficient in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes. u2022 Familiarity with case management software and other legal technology tools. u2022 Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment while managing individual responsibilities. u2022 Problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges effectively. u2022 Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools as needed.
