In this role, you will assist government leadership throughout the acquisition lifecycle by developing risk management strategies, analyzing production changes, and supporting configuration and scheduling activities.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Apply knowledge and experience in acquisition program management philosophy, policies, and procedures to:Systems and subsystemsEquipment procurement activitiesPost-award project/program management tasksAcquisition programs throughout their life cyclesManage and organize resources and personnel to meet task objectives efficiently and effectively; explore new approaches as applicable.Assign personnel to execute SOF & PR Division acquisition management support requirements.Risk ManagementAssist in developing integrated risk management plans and strategies.Analyze and prepare draft recommendations on weapon system contractor production changes for Government consideration.Configuration & Change ManagementWrite, review, and edit program documentation to ensure weapon system changes are accurately identified and recorded.Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Contract Change Proposals (CCPs).Participate in fact-finding and support the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process.Problem AnalysisPerform analysis of Government-confirmed problems/issues, including:Identification of potential impacts/risks to programsDevelopment of mitigation and avoidance strategiesScheduling & PlanningSupport strategic scheduling and planning documentation such as:Integrated Master Plan (IMP)Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Develop and maintain master integrated program schedules from concept to fielding.Utilize networking software tools for:Schedule networking and statusingNetwork graphics generationRisk assessments (probabilistic and deterministic) using Monte Carlo simulationEvaluate contractor and Government schedules; integrate schedule data.Assist with planning for program milestones and reviews.Program Strategy & DocumentationPerform analyses to support program strategy decisions and courses of action.Provide program assessments for documentation integration and milestone consistency.Draft, coordinate, adjudicate comments, and produce final versions of milestone documents.Collect technical data and inputs for staff summary packages to support milestone approvals.Process ImprovementRecommend alternatives to improve internal management processes.Participate in process improvement activities as members/advisors to IPTs and PIWGs.Requirements TranslationTranslate user requirements documents (CDD, CPD, CONOPS) into weapon system contract RFP documentation.Develop recommended program management inputs for PWSs, CDRLs, and other acquisition documentation.Tools & SystemsProficient in Microsoft Project.Familiar with CCaRS, SMART, and Air Force/SOF portals for research, analysis, and preparation of deliverables.Prepare finished products in technical/non-technical formats, classified/unclassified, as requested.Meeting & Event SupportLead/support activities including:Planning and facilitating meetings/offsitesDeveloping agendas, slides, and documentationRecording and disseminating ac
