We work with our government customers in defense and civilian agencies to identify new technologies.The OpportunityThe Contracts Administrator assists in all aspects of contract planning, negotiation, administration, and compliance to ensure the companys interests are protected and customer requirements are met. This role proactively engages with Government contracting counterparts, analyzes RFPs to identify and mitigate risk, and negotiates a wide range of agreements, including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, License Agreements, and OCI Mitigation Plans. The Contracts Administrator assists in the maintenance of compliant contract templates, oversees lifecycle management of all contracts, monitors performance and obligations, and resolves disputes efficiently. Working closely with legal, finance, procurement, and program teams, this position ensures contractual strategies align with organizational objectives. Additionally, the role assists in training on contract best practices and supports the management of company profiles across government contracting systems. This position has potential for growth opportunity.Key Responsibilities- Proactively engage with Government contracting counterparts in order to be responsive to customer requirements.- Assist the reviews and analysis of Request for Proposals (RFPs) in order to identify and mitigate contract risks; review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and OCI Mitigation Plans- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the terms of contracts with other parties, such as vendors, clients, and partners, to ensure that they are accurate, legally binding, and protect the interests of the company.- Assist in maintaining a library of contract templates that can be used as a starting point for new contracts and ensures that they are up-to-date and legally compliant.- Supports in managing the administrative aspects of contracts, such as tracking contract expiration dates, monitoring compliance, and ensuring that all parties fulfill their obligations.- Assess the risks associated with various contracts, such as financial, legal, and reputational risks, and implements strategies to minimize those risks.- Handle disputes that arise from contracts, such as breach of contract, and works to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.- Work closely with other departments, such as legal, finance, and procurement, to ensure that contracts are aligned with the company's overall objectives and strategies.- Support training and education to employees on contract-related matters, such as contract law, contract management best practices, and negotiation skills.- Manage company profiles and accounts in government systems.Requirements- Fluency in English (written and spoken)- Must have active Secret or higher Security clearance; or the eligibility to obtain a secret clearance.Education- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills, Experience and Abilities- 6 years of GOVCON Exp;- 5 years exp administering gov contracts in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations;- Experience and in-depth knowledge of all contract types (e.g., TandM, FFP, and Cost Plus);- Experience with Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and other legal instruments.- Understanding of indirect rates, price build ups, cost pools and ability to negotiate with the government and Prime customers.Preferred Qualifications- MS Excel and Indirect rates- Internal Cost Estimates- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills- Professionalism and positive attitude in workplace interactions- Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks/projects- Strong work ethic and reliability- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team- Willingness to learn new tools or procedures- Positive attitude toward safety and following protocols- Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindsetPhysical Demandsand Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
