Senior Data Engineer - AI / ML

Description Weu2019re seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to build and scale real-time data pipelines, drive platform reliability, and lead core AI/ML engineering initiatives. Youu2019ll work across teams to deliver highu2011performance, secure, and costu2011efficient data and machine learning systems. Responsibilities: + Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines (GCP, Kafka, Flink). + Own reliability, observability, and performance of the data/ML platform. + Optimize infrastructure performance and cloud costs. + Standardize data modeling and testing (dbt or similar). + Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices. + Ensure security, governance, and compliance across data systems. + Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor engineering peers. + Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and standards. Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree in related field (Master's in Data Science, Analytics or related field) + 6+ years in data engineering, ML engineering, or related fields. + Strong hands-on experience with Cloud (GCP or AWS), Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Python. + Proven experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML systems in production. + Expertise with semantic data modeling and frameworks like dbt. + Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices. + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar). + Strong communication and leadership skills.
