This position supports structured sports instruction, recreational play, and daily camp operations while maintaining a safe and positive environment for participants. Examples of Work + Assist in organizing and leading sports activities including football, basketball, soccer, and other recreational games + Supervise campers during sports programs, camp activities, and transitions + Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior + Ensure safety procedures and department policies are followed at all times + Assist with setup, breakdown, and general camp operations + Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, participants, and parents as needed Open Requirements/Supplemental Information + Experience working with youth in a recreational, educational, or athletic setting preferred + Knowledge of basic sports rules and fundamentals + Ability to supervise groups of children and maintain a safe environment + Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and interact positively with the public Work Environment: + Outdoor and indoor recreation facilities + Seasonal, temporary position + May require evenings and/or weekends A FULLY COMPLETED ONLINE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED.
