Job DutiesThe Associate Procurement Manager is responsible for delivering business results, implementing sourcing strategies, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing total cost of ownership, all of which are required to meet the business needs. This role will also support process development and implementing sourcing best practices within a specific spend category. May also drive continuous improvement, loss eradication, procurement compliance across several spend categories. This position will report to Procurement Manager or Procurement DirectorWhat you will do:Developing and deploying regional sourcing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership, mitigate headwinds and improve security of supply across an identified set of categories.Designing and executing projects to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and cost-savingsMastering TDC (Total Delivered Cost) sourcing process and being recognized as fully proficient in applying it in complex categories.Developing regional contract strategies and effectively negotiates key commercial and supply positions to the benefit of Ecolab business requirements and goals.Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories, leads local/regional negotiations and support global negotiations based on the strategies and needs of the business.Engaging with key business stakeholders from commercial and/or SC operations teams to maintain alignment with evolving business needs and strategic initiatives - eg. GMI, Outsourcing, NPI, Insourcing support and business growth programsEngaging R&D and Procurement Business Partners to drive portfolio optimization and consolidation.Effectively implements supplier management strategies and initiatives to achieve on time delivery and quality assurance at regional level.Leveraging & collaborating with broader cross functional networks to ensure supplier service levels, both in terms of on time deliveries as well as product quality.Representing purchasing on cross-functional project teams.Minimum qualificationDegree in Engineering related discipline, chemistry, or related business degree5 years of Procurement or Supply Chain work experience.Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated history of leadership and experience in procurementPrevious professional experience in a global (Fortune 500 or similar) multi-national company with operations in all major world markets and regionsExperience with eProcurement tools such as GEP, PowerBi, etcDemonstrated skills in clear communication and good presentation skillsProactive self-starter with the ability to work independentlyUnderstands the goals of a multinational business and able to identify and execute on company-wide opportunitiesBusiness-oriented professional who has demonstrated the ability to operate in a matrixed organization and deliver results in a challenging business environment.Annual or Hourly Compensation RangeThe base salary range for this position is $96,700.00 - $145,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
